Asked questions (FAQs)
Gaming rooms
Starting from which age can we play?
Each gaming room is flexible so that everyone can enjoy it. The fact that there are no rules but only one objective to fulfill allows that.
To sum up, you can come with a child who is at least 6 years old, your professional handballer cousin, or your grandparents.
However, if the group is composed only with 6-12yo children, they won't be able to do all the gaming rooms.
What's the optimal number of players?
To appreciate 100% of our gaming rooms, you need between 3 and 6 players (5 is the most optimal). If you are seven and don't want to split the group, we will make an exception.
Alone or in a group of two? You can still try to find people in the same situation as you in the bar and meet new friends!
Can we book if we are a big group?
Of course! In terms of gaming rooms, 24 individuals can play every 30 minutes (6person / rooms)
For bar space, we can accommodate you for free in the Petit salon (up to 10 people), reserve the secret room (up to 40 people), or privatize the whole bar (up to 90 people).
It won't stop us if you are even more than 90. We offer you outside animations in a place we will define together.
Can an individual in a handicapped situation play in our gaming rooms?
Yes, we did our gaming rooms to make them available to most people.
- People in wheeling chairs can play in 2 gaming rooms. (not Tohu Bohu, nor the photo Marto).
- People with a visual handicap can play in one or two gaming rooms, depending on the handicap.
- People who are mute or deafened can play in 3 of our games.
- People with a mental handicap can play in two or three rooms, depending on the handicap.
In any case, feel free to contact us. We will do our best to adapt our gaming rooms to welcome you in the best conditions possible.
Are the gaming rooms scary?
No, but that's our point of view. One of the games is played in a pitch-black room. There is nothing weird inside to scare you, but dark places can be scary. You are free to leave the room at any time during the game.
Can pregnant women play in the gaming rooms?
Yes. In our opinion, only one mode (out of 4) in the Corpore Sano room shouldn't be played. However, we will offer you another alternative that is as funny as the other one!
Is it possible to modify or cancel a reservation?
Yes, we are very considerate of unexpected situations, and since you are not paying in advance to reserve a room, it won't cost you a thing. However, take into account that canceling at the last moment prevents other people from booking the slot, which deeply hurts our planning and Pioche itself.
You can modify a reservation using the link in the booking confirmation mail.
Can I reserve a specific gaming room?
Of course. Just follow the reservation steps on our website, and we will ask you to pick the rooms you want.
Can I come outside the opening hours?
Depending on the number of your group (minimum 12 individuals) and if we can find team members available, we will welcome you with pleasure.
Can we play at Pioche with tight clothes and high heels?
To be honest, easy peasy.
Bar
Is it possible to eat in Pioche?
So, as long as it's not a raclette or your bogies, you can bring whatever you want. If you are not the type to prepare something ahead of time, you can always order our snacks or pizza from a local pizzeria.
Can I reserve a table?
Usually, we don't book tables, but we still make exceptions, mainly to assure our gamer groups that they have a place to sit after the rooms.
Is there a terrace?
Yes, about 15 quiet places and sometimes under the sun. :)
Are you doing themed evenings?
We think that's a weird question, but Google is telling us to put it anyway. So, the answer is most likely yes, but not every evening. Did the answer help you?
Do we need to register to participate in your events?
Most of the time, no. If that's the case, we will clearly say it ahead of time when we communicate the event in question. As for the teams, we usually like it when people join other groups and meet new people. Therefore, we normally do one table = one team.
